Luxilon String and Tennis Rackets

Luxilon string is the newest string used by pro tennis players. It is a "coated poly" fiber which allows a tennis player to put more spin onto their ball and have more control. This string is much more durable and retains its shape longer than any other string on the market today. Since 2002, the Luxilon Big Banger string has been declared the official string of the Association of Tennis. By August of 2005, 60% of the top 200 professional men tennis players and 30% of the top 200 professional women were using Luxilon string. They found that it gave them more control over the ball while allowing them to put a better spin on the ball as well.
